@Recca: Off-topic, but I have everything I need ready for the Galaxy Robo update patch. I just need to edit the readme a bit and make some new patch files. Once I get off my lazy butt and get that work done, I'll have something to send you.

That's okay Draken, there's no need to rush. By the way, I just completed the La Wares Romanian translation! I've already sent Bongo` the splash page to insert into the IPS patch. Afterwards, I'll send the finished product to Taskforce and upload it to RHDN as well. Compared to some of the other RPGs we worked on before, this one was quiet short. It only took me about two months to translate and beta-test. Speaking of which, there's another mistake that I noticed in the English version. The character Louchenas has his name spelled wrong as well in the battle menu. As for now, I'm going to take a bit of a break after all that work...

Wow, great news Recca! Despite this great success, it does make me a little sad that the English release is still not complete... I know that Wildbill is coordinating the project, and that he has been away, but has anyone heard from him recently? There are maybe 6 projects stalled at the moment that he is directly in charge of or working closely on. I wish he would pop by and at least let us all know that he's doing well. :(

Your upcoming release is great news, Recca, and though I can't even fathom when the English patch will be ready, it still gives me great hope for a speedy editing/testing phase for the English release if you were able to compose your Romanian patch without any hitches. :)

The names are graphical hacks and all done through software including the enemy names.
I have to send you the updated files, Recca. In order to get a lot of the stuff cleared up.
Not sure if you wanna go threw all the name changes and stuff. Will take some time.

In my Romanian translation, I changed the main character's name back to "Chiffon", which was his original Japanese name. It now matches the name in the battle menu, unlike the current English version which uses the name "Shiffon". The only thing that I wasn't able to translate was the battle menu itself, but I did add a translation in the readme text file that I wrote. Most of the English commands should be understandable to Romanians anyways. For example "Attack" is "Atac" in Romanian and "Magic" is "Magie".

As for the English version, from what I've seen, it's pretty much done in my opinion. Wildbill was supposed to finish fine tuning and polishing the script, but I haven't heard from him for a while now. If anyone is interested, I could look over the script myself once more to finish correcting any remaining grammatical errors and such before beta testing it once more and sending it to either Draken or Taskforce for review. We still have to change those battle menu names though, unless it's preferred to change Shiffon's name back to Chiffon. Speaking of which, I haven't heard from Red Soul in a long while as well. I hope everyone is alright...

By the way, this game seems to glitch up pretty badly when fast forwarding in dungeons too much with Zsnes. The one way to fix this error is to save often using the game's .srm saves and load if anything starts to look strange. Or, you could avoid fast forwarding altogether. Anyways, the good news is that this game lets you save anywhere so there's really not much need for emulator save states.

Edit: There's one last bug that I wasn't able to fix. In the city of Mezra, there's a NPC woman inside of the inn which freezes the game when you talk to her. No dialogue appears, the game just freezes completely forcing the player to restart. I looked through all the text files and couldn't find any dialogue that was hers or that would match this character. I believe that I posted a screen shot of this bug before, but I can't remember if it was in this thread or another.

Edit 2: Okay, I've found it. The screen shot is on the last post of the first page here:

Do you have a Save state or Save file for where this lady is?

Awesome, thanks! By the way, I still noticed that the characters' names are written incorrectly in the battle menu. This is what the current version looks like:

Shiffon
Mishelda
Lushunas
Agura

The names in the Romanian version should be:

Chiffon
Michelda
Louchenas
Agurra

The English version is the same, except that "Chiffon" is instead written as "Shiffon". I also sent you a small translation for the English menu into Romanian, but it's not very important as long as the names are correct (it's been translated in the readme anyways). Thanks again for all the help Bongo`! This game may be pretty short, but it's still quite a beast to take on translation/ROM hacking wise.

Edit: By the way, thanks for sending me the Galaxy Robo inserter, Draken! I'll look into it once I finish with La Wares.
