I don't come into this thread much, but I have played a few games since Christmas - a little here, a little there. DQ-VI for NDS was the biggie, and finishing it made me want to do DQ-VI for the SFC, all the more.

I also did FF-I and FF-II for the PSP. I loved FF-II, this time around.

Doing FF-IV Complete for the PSP, as I type. The Sylph dungeon and other optional locations in the underworld are kicking my tail, especially when I keep dozing off during my still-limited rec time. I need some sort of gadgets to keep me from being turned into dratted frogs all the time! Perhaps I've overlooked some protection spell or something. Rydia's back, and I need to go into another optional cave and find some new Summon helpers, but the way people keep checking in and out of my lineup constantly, I'm wondering if it's worth the aggravation. Well, at least I'm grinding levels, but Edge gets killed left and right. If I get him all buffed up, he'll probably leave the party one battle later!

You definitely have to grind some in that game... God, I've played it sooooo many times, I know it like the back of my hand.

@ultpaladin: Even if Xenoblade doesn't come out stateside, I'm definitely picking up the European version and just playing it through an emulator. ;)

Draken,

How would Xenoblade work on an emulator? I thought you had to use a wiimote and numchuck.

Game-wise I recently finished Tales of Innocence and Adventures at Hourai High. The first game I can't really recommend. It probably has the worse dungeon design I have ever seen. The battle system was pretty fun but I didn't like any of the characters. It is definitely not a "mothership" Tales title. The second game was very fun to play. It reminded me a little bit of Earthbound. I'm also pretty far into Arc Rise Fantasia. This game is actually very much worth playing. It has a very interesting tetris like weapon customization system along with a good soundtrack and some interesting plot twists.

Well... You can hook-up (pair) a real remote with Dolphin (Wii/GC emulator). You can also use other input devices to simulate the real thing. Right now, I use my PS3 controller with Dolphin, and it's working pretty well! If you've never used it, I'd highly recommend that you try it out. Dolphin is REALLY advanced now - especially if you pick up the latest SVN build. (Also, I think Xenoblade supports the classic controller as well)

On a side note... Really liking the first Baten Kaitos so far. The battle/magnus system was a little more refined in Origins, but it's still good. Yes, the voice acting is pretty awful, but I read a lot faster than the voices and just end up skipping a lot of the dialog.

I'm actually planning to play Tales of Symphonia after I finish BK. I haven't touched a single tales game since beating all of the PS1 iterations. So, I've got a lot of catching up to do.

Currently, I'm playing Castlevania: Circle of the Moon.

I've also been meaning to either play Breath of Fire 3, or Wild Arms...I can't really decide.

Finished Arc Rise Fantasia for the Wii, will probably try out Dragon Quest Swords and continue playing Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky for PSP.

Haha, I wound up playing Final Fantasy 4: The After Years on PSP. It's really not bad, the chapters progress too slow though, I've already done 7 of 'em (Edge's being my favourite). I hope the final chapter picks things up, and that mysterious girl needs more of a character, I'm getting tired of her calling everying incomprehensible.

I'm also playing the SNES Breath of Fire, because I just have to finish it! It was one of my first ever RPG's as a young'un, I played it for months! I had the GBA version though, and I tried finishing it multiple times, the furthest I got to was some desert town.

I was playing Circle of the Moon before, I just killed death. But I'm putting it on hold, because it's kinda wearing out on me.

Finished up Baten Kaitos yesterday. I thought it was a pretty good game. Sure, the voice acting (especially Xehla) was pretty god-awful, but I still enjoyed the story, music, and colorfully rendered backgrounds. I don't know why I didn't play this game sooner...

Today, I started up Tales of Symphonia for the GC. I'm only two hours into the game, but I'm liking it so far ;)

I'm about to finish Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. Definitely a great game that focuses a lot more on characters and story than most RPGs. Definitely recommend this game. I'll probably look at the other three Legend of Heroes for the PSP sometime in the future but I heard the localization is not as good for those games. Taskforce, I think you had some opinions on these games, any thoughts?

I'm also about half way through Dragon Quest Swords for the Wii, I don't know if I'll ever get used to the Wiimote, I never play the game for more than an hour in a row because my arm just starts feeling uncomfortable.
