I've got Ar Tonelico Qoga preordered for pickup Tuesday and will be playing it as soon as it hits my hot little hands. In the meantime I'm still working my way through those Suikoden's. i'm about to start 3. All stars acquired in 1-2 (although, I darn near missed Clive in 2) :)

And now I have Ar Tonelico Qoga in my hands :) See you guys when its done (This is just like for me what Dragon Quest is for Wildbill)

Edit: What the hell was NIS America thinking with this font on Ar Tonelico Qoga. Sure it might be OK on a highdef TV but I'm playing it on a 32 inch SDTV and this crap is darn near unreadable. It doesn't help that its white on light blue background. Seriously guys, this is the reason I harp on crappy fan translation fonts (I won't mention any fonts that I might consider bad as I'd rather not hurt any feelings.) That being said, this is a professional game that costs $60. To leave it darn near unplayable for those who don't have a hidef TV is really sad on NIS America's part.

As a side note, all you fan translators, remember this. Not everyone is playing your game on the latest 55 inch 1080P HDTV because you are. Some of us still like playing them on what these old games are designed for, a standard def smaller screen cheap tube TV. Really thin and/or small fonts don't work well on those TV's :)

Right now I'm playing Mystic Ark and Final Fantasy 6. Although right now I'm losing that mood to play Final Fantasy. (I guess that's because of 110+ hours of playing 4 and 5 just before)

I was playing Alundra too, but my save file died. I'll get around to playing it again soon, I also want to play a Lunar of Lufia game when I can.

Been a while since I've posted here, I finally finished up Last Remnant a few weeks ago. I also finished Final Fantasy 4: The Interlude for the PSP and I'm now playing a little bit of the original game. I've also put a lot of work into Fire Emblem 10 for the Wii and I'm in the final chapter about 75% through the game. It really is a solid game although you are basically playing three stories at one time. Finally I've progressed about half way through Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.

What did you think of Last Remnant? I recently picked it up, but have yet to start it.

I enjoyed it a lot. The battle system is a nice change of pace and they really reach an epic scale towards the end of the game which are almost too much for the console to handle. If you are using the XBox 360 version, you should definitely install the game. The battles though are definitely fun especially when you come up against a large army or powerful boss. Lots of strategy involved. There are tons of sidequests, some of which open up new areas unlike many other games which just rehash things. The game has a huge world and probably about 100 characters you can recruit from. By the end of the game you have about 18 party members in battle at one time. The story does focus primarily on about 7-10 of those characters.

The main thing I did not like was the lack of being able to equip my own characters outside the hero. Your party members will ask for materials and equipment occasionally. I would use the Last Remnant Wiki for an idea of what characters may ask for. It really is a great site.

Finished Baten Kaitos Origins yesterday. Going to start the first game tomorrow. I thought it was pretty good! I wish Monolith Soft. would get a little more praise. They always create games that look pretty darned good and have really great soundtracks!

I've finished the first Baten Kaitos, let me know how the second one compares, its one of the games in my backlog that I hope someday to play. Just to warn you, the voicework in the first game is awful and I think the cards will be handled a little differently too. I agree with you on Monolith, I'm really hoping that Xenoblade makes it here.

As for games I'm playing, I just finished Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn and Golden Sun Dark Dawn. Right now I'm playing several games trying to pick one to focus on. I've been playing Tales of Innocence, Final Fantasy 4 PSP: The After Years, Arc Rise Fantasia and Hourai High for the SNES.
