In my Romanian translation, I changed the main character's name back to "Chiffon", which was his original Japanese name. It now matches the name in the battle menu, unlike the current English version which uses the name "Shiffon". The only thing that I wasn't able to translate was the battle menu itself, but I did add a translation in the readme text file that I wrote. Most of the English commands should be understandable to Romanians anyways. For example "Attack" is "Atac" in Romanian and "Magic" is "Magie".
As for the English version, from what I've seen, it's pretty much done in my opinion. Wildbill was supposed to finish fine tuning and polishing the script, but I haven't heard from him for a while now. If anyone is interested, I could look over the script myself once more to finish correcting any remaining grammatical errors and such before beta testing it once more and sending it to either Draken or Taskforce for review. We still have to change those battle menu names though, unless it's preferred to change Shiffon's name back to Chiffon. Speaking of which, I haven't heard from Red Soul in a long while as well. I hope everyone is alright...
By the way, this game seems to glitch up pretty badly when fast forwarding in dungeons too much with Zsnes. The one way to fix this error is to save often using the game's .srm saves and load if anything starts to look strange. Or, you could avoid fast forwarding altogether. Anyways, the good news is that this game lets you save anywhere so there's really not much need for emulator save states.
Edit: There's one last bug that I wasn't able to fix. In the city of Mezra, there's a NPC woman inside of the inn which freezes the game when you talk to her. No dialogue appears, the game just freezes completely forcing the player to restart. I looked through all the text files and couldn't find any dialogue that was hers or that would match this character. I believe that I posted a screen shot of this bug before, but I can't remember if it was in this thread or another.
Edit 2: Okay, I've found it. The screen shot is on the last post of the first page here:
