Thanks, Garrett. Having always been intrigued by this particular game, I've downloaded the info and will scan through it when I get a chance. I've been sort of involuntarily inactive on the hobby front lately, bogged down with other matters, but I plan to get started again by the end of this month.

From what I understand, Bill, DOAE deals with chinese history; it just occured to me that you might be interested in the
Romance Of The Three Kingdoms series of games as it deals with the same setting, albeit its a macromanagement strategical game
rather than a RPG. Just thought I'd throw that in.

But the game linked here isn't the proper 16-bit game, an SNES strategy game (which I can't even try to figure out how to play, as I don't have the high-level Japanese skills needed).
The game linked here is an unofficial Mega Drive/Genesis game.

I imagine if D-D could add this game to the tranlasting-list plan. It would be fantastic 'cause the language barrier for a long time has prevented me from touching it.

I remain hopeful of looking into doing this game, too. I have forgotten what's in the tools, but if needed, I could help produce a Chinese table file if someone would help with dumping the Chinese and later the Chinese script. I'm sure we could find some Chinese translators out there, but we would need an insertion structure after that and also be able to process the menus and "list" (Misc) files, such as weapons and warlord names.
