Hoping to make your life's design a bit more dynamic!

This means two things:

1. I am back from another lengthy hiatus, but my time will remain limited through the winter and spring.
2. Tonight, I dug the Oni-II insertion structure and files out of the bottom of the deep locker and tested it.

Notes: A while back, Taskforce passed Oni-II back to me, to peck away on for a while. This doesn't mean we won't change our approach again, but for now, right away, I intend to do some test insertions and format a bit more text past the point where I left off several years ago.

If we run into freezes or crashes that require assembly skills to rectify and continue forward with writing the first draft - and we can't fix the problem(s) in house, this project may return to a moribund status.

Other projects are ahead of Oni-II in the queue, at the moment, all of them except Power of the Hired, Odyssea-I, and Destiny of an Emperor-GB.

Taskforce told me a while back he planned to hit Power of the Hired a few licks once Aretha-II was in the can.

Heh, funny you mentioned Power of the Hired. I was actually just poking at Power of the Hired yesterday finalizing the font (as I was having issues with it when I left off). Now, I'll try to help you and Bwah117 out on Aretha I, then I plan to get going on that one. It is a short game with a small script (for a strategy RPG), hopefully we can get it knocked out soon.

Eleven months later, just last evening, I beat this game in English - first in the world.

A fair amount of technical and coding fixes remain, areas that lie beyond my expertise.

Hi it's been a long time since the last news concerning this project. Did you find someone able to help you with the technical part?

We haven't yet, and I haven't had the time or chance to look into it with my meager skills either. At some point, we'll figure out how we want to move forward. At this point, it is in a pretty unplayable state even though the translation is pretty well complete. We've had offers along, but nothing has really panned out at this point I'm afraid.
