Hello. I was just wondering if you guys ever released a patch. I wanted to play this ever since I saw a preview in Gamepro in the early 90s. I was excited to see you guys say the translation was nearly complete back in 2021, and I've been checking back every couple months for the past five years hoping it would magically appear. Thanks for your time :)

They're still coming, but Wildbill was the one working on them and we have to wait until he can get back to the location the files are in (he is hundreds of miles away) and the time to send them over to us for release. Unfortunately, right now he is not at the location the files are at and I can't give an ETA when he will be there. We'll get them out as soon as we can.

Cant wait to try this out when the patch gets released, had my physical copy of the game turn up today from italy.
I LOVE any RPG that deals with ancient real world places, so this one (and part 2) looks great.

I loved the Glory of Herakles 3 and 4 games, which had a similar type of ancient real world theme, ancient greece etc, so went and bought those on physical japanese copies too.

It seems my new obsession is collecting original physical Japanese SNES games that has a translation patch, and playing them on my new 'Retron 5', rather than *cough* rom & patch, which is something i've always wanted to do and can now with me being in a much better position, funds wise. I've had a few mates say "why bother.? Just play the rom/patch, it's much cheaper." To which i said, "Sure it's free, BUT there's nothing like having the original copy and building a great collection of classic retro rpg games." I picked up Odys1 quite cheap from Italy, £20.70 though postage was a little pricey £21.74.. LOL! more than the actual game, but its a complete version, game slight discolouring on cart, box slight ware but no creases or damage, also the manual with no damage too.

So yeah, looking forward to this release eventually, good luck getting it finished guys :D

Really looking forward to it! Yours will probably be the final translations for snes rpgs, given that everyone seem to have moved on to other systems, and the few good rpgs that still remain untranslated will probably remain that way (I've already given up on the idea of seeing Verne World or Gokinjo Boukentai in English someday). And we'd better not start on how abandoned Gideon Zhi has his translations for Madara 2, Lady Stalker or GD-Leen. I highly doubt he'll bother resuming his work on them at this point.

Only games light on text and story will probably be translated eventually (like the recent Shounen Ninja Sasuke that was released some days ago, which is mostly a Goemon clone).

To sum up: DD's work will probably be the swan song for this platform regarding rpgs, so any progress from you will be greatly appreciated and valued. Hope everything's going well to all of you.
