I wonder if THIS is where Hudson/Birthday came up with the idea of Daikaiju Monogatari..?

The resemblance is uncanny, yeah. But if I remember correctly, the first Kaijuu Monogatari game was released on the famicom in 1988 while that Hebereke game seems to be a 1991 one. To be fair, cute, chibi mascot-like characters aren't uncommon in Japan :lol:
