| Post subject: | Searching everywhere....... |
It seems like you can search in many places in this game for items, sometimes even on the world map. I thought it might be a good idea to list places where you can search and perhaps even places where unique items can be found. So far I have found stuff in pots, wells, bookshelves, cabinets, and woodpiles. I have never found anything under a bed but perhaps someone can tell if they have found things there. |

In the first town (Beta) I'm pretty sure you can find some gold under someone's bed. As you go further into the game you will also find stuff in candelabras (in temples), shop signs, flowerbeds (in rooms at inns), windmills, rocks & under bridges among others. |

Through searching can lead to unexpected, suprising or even humurous results at times, its an integral part of the game, so dust off that magnfying glass and keep snooping around haha. |

Oh yah! Make sure you search everywhere, indeed! *possible very minor spoiler, although this is in the first town in the first 15 minutes, so not really....Just examples on how to approach this game for newbies: Be sure to check fire places too!  Even if you do not find anything, the dialouge is still humourous.'  Anyway, back on topic. Even under bridges you will find stuff!  Check stacks of firewood!  Agreed, check everywhere!! |

Speaking of searching everywhere. Found 3 different sets of keys in Altena town. Anyone know what they do (yes I am impatient) or will I just have to wait and see (is it obvious what they are used for)? |

You'll get hints about the items, but you already found them by searching first.

Wildbill is right, you get to talk to different sets of folk at day & at night  Not much of a spoiler but.... this game seems to reward you for acts of kindness & self-sacrifice  In Beta town for example, if you make a huge sacrifice you will be greatly rewarded
