Now, weapons and Items. I noticed for the first time that instead of Japanese, many have a series of codes. I don't know what to make of this. I haven't seen a list set up this way before, but I'll investigate the situation if it presents a matching problem. BTW, we have room for longer names in SS-II, but because of one unique menu, I had to shorten "Leather Shield" to "Leath Shield". 12 spaces seems to be the limit because of that one menu. We were flirting with the idea of using icons, but we never made a final decision. Plenty of time for that. So, here's the list - some with codes, others with Japanese:

The one with "???" needs some clarification - that's a new one. As for the lack of letters - you could use 2 in 1 tiles for some items. And I also tried to put their names in 2 lines when I hacked into the game. Don't remember the results though...

There are a few things I've run into that I want to bring up for consistency's sake. I figured that I should use Aishsha's name conventions, so that's what I've been going with. These nouns, though, aren't already covered in this thread, and I wonder if any of them come up elsewhere in the parts that are already done.

Named NPCs: カミラ - Camilla/Camila, マム - Mamu, モン - Mon, リムセン - Limsen

Locations: ラトニアの関所 - Latonian Barrier, ラゴール - Ragol

Items: アルテナのおふだ - Altena Token (valuable item)

Also, about those silly bird creatures whose name Aishsha cleverly rendered as "Maugham." I've been treating "Maugham" as both singular and plural.

Sounds good, Shiva. We have been using "Zuhl" as both singular and plural, also. If any of these proper nouns are recurring characters or places, I hope Aishsha will respond. If not recurring, we will go with your best advice. Another name you need to check at some point is "Kalmon" or "Calmon" (a rich man, I belive, with a Port Endel mansion). There's also place I called "Chancellor's Room". That one needs to be checked, too.

I'm still trying to get the whole package of material assembled for Draken and you. I've had some family distractions here...

I will be writing a finished story for the first three towns, based on your finished Block 159, then I will give it all to Draken for the rest of the insertions and formatting. Red Soul doesn't know it yet, but he will hold up beta testing the first three towns and the Cave of Departure (to the Gates of Arkasas Town in South Ofelia) until I get this done.

"Ofuda" is a "Charm" in the series, as I recall... Ragol is correct. I will check that barrier thing - they had sth like that in the previous games, but I don't rememver exactly...

Altena('s) Charm is ok... Latonia... I do remember it was sth like "barrier". According to their history, the citizens of Latonia blocked the entrance to their kingdom with stones, being afraid of a Zuhl's attack... I need to check how exactly they called that thing...
