Thought you guys might like to check out the progress on Team Innocent. :) For those of you who don't know TI is a sci-fi suspense adventure that's not dissimilar to a less action oriented version of Resident Evil set in space. It uses 2D sprites on 3D pre-rendered backgrounds which gives it a unique look. The PC-FX of course has beautiful FMV processing and the game features some lovely anime style cut scenes as well as 3D pre-rendered footage. Script translation should be pretty much done. Looking for alpha testers currently.

I'd love to be a tester for this! Just need to figure out where/how to emulate the PC-FX :)

We'd love the help! Do you use Windows? Have you ever made a .bat file? It's really easy anyway. I can tell you how so you can use Mednafen. Check your PMs. :)

I use linux mostly but I have a VM with windows just in case, batch files are no problem, I've lived through the DOS era ;)
I'll get back to you guys sunday, gotta go to Germany today.

Looks like a pretty awesome game!
I too, however have no experience whatsoever emulating the PC-FX.
Probably the most uncommon system I tried to emulate was the MSX, because I was curious
to how Metal Gear played back then, haha.

Thanks guys! I've sent materials out for this game and for Welcome to Pia Carrot 2 for testing. The WtPC2 testing seems to be coming along well. Both testers have already started digging into the game and sending me some video footage. I'll probably do some editing on that script tonight. Had a few people interested in TI. No footage yet but I'm looking forward to some soon as folks have a chance to play.

If you don't mind one more set of eyes, I'm kind of in a holding pattern on Minerva right now, and have nothing else to do. If you want, pass it my way and I'll give it a test play. And I promise to keep my comments strictly to fixes :) I'll have to look up how to emulate this machine as well. But I'm sure it can't be hard. (In fact, I'd be willing to help with either game you might need it on.)

hey, what are you talking about? Why is it on hold? :)

Filler: is it hard to hack pc games. What is required? Are there any Jrpgs ( turn Based ) left?

I would imagine the difficulty is similar to console games. It really just depends on the devs and I believe the most notorious devs are the people at Falcom. There's probably quite a bit of untranslated JPRG's for the PC out there. Probably the best turn-based games not in english are the Legend of Heroes 3-6.
