Hoping to make your life's design a bit more dynamic!

Zarby89 has released 'Light Fantasy' for the SNES, after a chat with him he is also working on 'Light Fantasy II' but he is unsure if he's going to finish it because the script translation is just too long for him, and because his English is not great so he made use of AI, DeepL, and Google to help him along the way with LF1. I've tried LF1 and whilst it's not great (and a challenging rpg) at least it's near complete and the script needs a little work.

He's said that he's making the ASM tools and such available for people if they wish to go through his attempt and rework the script to make it better.. I think this would be a great 2-game series for you guys to work on here. He's done most of the hacking he just struggles with the script/translation mainly so for LF1 I think the main thing for you guys would just to do a retranslation, as for LF2 maybe he could do the hacking and you guys the translation..? In the mean time, IF his talent is good enough he might also be able to sort out some of the issues you guys have with existing projects that are on hold or in limbo..?

You never know.

I saw the news of this release, but I have yet to try out the translation for myself, so I can't comment yet on its quality. However, I've seen a few screenshots and posts about it on other sites which mentioned the script having quite a few grammatical mistakes since from what I've heard, the person who released this translation isn't entirely fluent in English. I wouldn't mind working on these two games together as a collaboration effort if everyone here agreed to it. Unfortunately, I haven't heard from neither Wildbill nor Taskforce in quite a while now, so we'll have to wait to see what they think about this. They're probably just busy with some other things at the moment. Regardless of what it is, I certainly hope that they're doing well. Anyway, thanks for letting us know about this release, perhaps we'll be able to work on these two games as joint projects in the future.

Yeah, i tried it before my OP here, the translation ain't great but at least his work paves the way for others and better translations which the guy is happy to share tools.
