Looks great Gideon Zhi, this was truly a very good surprise even if you couldn't sneak it in before Christmas. I've been looking forward to this game a lot and considering how much variety it has, I'm sure I'll play it a couple of times and probably again when Dynamic Designs releases their own patch some day. It looks like you spent an incredible amount of effort on this game.

I'm sure there are many more praiseworthy things in this localization GZ but I'd like to complement you on the title screen which I think looks great. It captures the spirit of the original while at the same time some wise choices make it very pleasing in it's English form. I love the title font too.

BTW: What was the conference you were at recently? I caught some tweets about it but I didn't quite catch the venue/theme (I was distracted by trying to catch posts from friends in Japan as to the situation there.)

I think I heard somewhere that it was due to the animation of the letters as they appear on screen.
They appear one by one, and the last letter appears backwards before being flipped in the correct direction. I guess out of the words that would fit, he liked the look of that one the best.

The whole game is kind of silly and strange, thus, it fits. And yeah, the word choice was a combination of getting the correct tone along with something that would fit in nine characters with the last letter looking different when reversed.

Fifteen years to the day after its Japanese launch and twelve years after the project started back in 1999, Aeon Genesis and satsu have finally completed an English translation for The Adventures of Hourai High, a silly little RPG for the SNES. An extreme amount of effort went into rewiring the guts of this game to get it looking good in English, so we hope you enjoy it!

Let me be the first one here to say congratulations on the release Gideon Zhi! Whew, it sure must have been a hard game to work on from what I've heard. Anyways, I'll be sure to check this one out as it looks like a very funny and light hearted game. :)

Congratulations on the release. I'm glad to see Satsu's hard work on making sure this game got done in English finally paid off. And sorry Satsu that our version has been so slow but we'll eventually get it out.

Don't be. I know from first-hand experience how much of a @#$%& this game's menus can be to get working properly :/
