Aeon Genesis has released a complete translation for the SNES RPG "Ancient Magic". A godawful amount of work went into this, probably more than was worth it, but it's a fun little game in its own right. It has some minor plot malleability in some events, and the plot twists towards the end will totally throw you for a loop.

Everything's done and working, barring one (to our knowledge) tiny cosmetic bug. Enjoy! This is just the first of hopefully three releases coming this holiday season from AGTP.

Yeah, but when you let loose a biggie like this that you sweated bullets to shove out the door, the good feeling is with you forevermore.

So, take fifteen or twenty minutes of well-earned rest to celebrate, then roll up your sleeves and get back to work!

Hahah, as if :/ After release, I went to bed; got up five hours later and came to work for a 14 hour shift, which is where I'm writing this. 13.5 hours to go! :/

It's a group home job :/

And LM3 is coming in a few months! Eien still needs to finish revising the script, and it's turning out that our dump didn't include the text from when you just stop in at random houses on the map.

The game seems really fun. I like the characters and the monsters you fight.
That feels like Nintendo back when I first started playing Nintendo.

Ow. The last time I did one of those was working retail around this time of year. :( I don't envy you. Nice job on the release though!

The timing of this release is perfect for me since I'm on Christmas break. So it sounds like Ancient Magic is the second oldest in age of the three games you are talking about. I guess that means one game is an NES game and the other a later generation SNES one perhaps?

Or I could be talking about project lifespan!
