Last week I beat "Onimusha: Warlords", yes it's the first, it's a good game but the controls are bad. I mean, "resident evil style" controls on an action-game is trouble. But what really bugged me is the abscence of analog support. Well, I hope the second has better controls, because it's the only bad part about this game.

And to everyone who's accompanying(LOL), I'm still playing Arc the Lad II, and have more than 70 hours, I guess I'm getting near the end.

Hah, if you play it like me (with completing every quest at 100% and reading all text, leveling, going to secret locations and getting secret characters) - your estimated time by the end should be no less than 120 hours or even more. >:3

I do not intend to do everything. Until now I only did sidequests to help level up. Seriously, I didn't like this game so much. All these hours are more like grinding.

I'm still beta testing and going through Slayers another time. I did finish Glory of Heracles for the DS. I'll probably finish Dragon Quest 5 for the PS2 next because of all the upcoming Dragon Quest games. It was good to hear that Dragon Quest 9 will be out in the US in 4-6 months.

Yeah, I really loved this game, it's much better than 3 and 4. I still remember when I started playing Suikoden 3, a few years ago, it got me really pissed that it didn't have 6 characters on battle parties like PSX ones.

I started playing Front Mission 5, with the translation patch. So far, it looks pretty amazing, not just gameplay but story too.

And, I'm still on Arc the Lad II, it's a very big game, lol.

I suggest if you liked Suikoden II or 5, that you definitely give Suikoden Tierkreis for DS a whirl. It isn't as good as those previous 2 but it is MUCH better than 3 or 4. And I'd even rate it better than 1 (though because I like the Hix and Tengaar story in 1 so well, it gets a higher rating from me.) Its amazing how much FMV and voice over is packed into that tiny DS cart. Though the game is HUGE by DS standards, it is still small by CD standards. Every bit as much as is on any PS1 game you've ever played. A must play for fans of the franchise.

Thanks TF, but I already played Suikoden Tierkreis. I agree that it's very good, I found it the best classic-RPG for DS so far, well, at least from the ones I already played.

I just finished up Sands of Destruction for the DS. It's a really short game. If they worked a little harder they could have done some amazing things with this game but I would have to leave it in the mediocre pile because the combat system is broken making the game far too easy and one character is completely broken because he hits 100 percent of the time even if you focus completely on strength at the expense of accuracy. They also messed up an interesting concept for a story when they get half way in and lose focus. Also, for some reason the spoken dialogue has too many delays between speakers.

On the positive side, the skill system is interesting, the game also features a morale system which affects battle performance and there seems to be a lot of extra little bonuses to find throughout the game.

I've now gone back to an old game I never finished, Nostalgia for the DS and the game has grown on me a bit now that the world is opening up more.

I wish I had time to play games. I'd like to get cross edge, swipe my nephews PS3 for a bit and play it. Alas, I have neither the money or time to do that at this point. And yes, I know the game isn't rated very high, but it has the girls from Ar Tonelico. I HAVE to play it at some point :)
