What RPG series would you like to see resurrected?

Post subject:  What RPG series would you like to see resurrected?
There are so many RPG series that I think have fallen to the wayside in this current generation. Which series would people here like to see on the latest consoles like the Wii, Xbox 360 or PS3?

My choices:

1. Shining Force (not that Shining Force Feather stuff on DS)
2. Suikoden (I liked the DS game but I would love to see the series on a real console again)
3. Ogre Battle (Square Enix owns the rights to this, hopefully they don't butcher it like they did Lufia)
4. Skies of Arcadia (I guess its not a series, but this needs a sequel without a doubt)
5. Mother/Earthbound

What can I say, I agree with everyone, especially speaking of Shining Force and Ogre Battle.
I also feel Breath Of Fire needs to be brought back properly after the big no no Dragon Quarter was.

These are the games I would love to see a sequel:

Grandia IV(Allways loved this series, except for that crap "Grandia Xtreme")
Suikoden VI(More Suikoden is allways good)
Front Mission 6(What can I say ? I love Front Mission, and this time, another SRPG please)
The Legend of Dragoon II(This is one of the best RPGs I have played)
Phantasy Star V(You don't know how much I hated "PS Universe")



These are originally from a handheld, but I would love sequels, even on handhelds again:

Megaman Battle Network 7(Not those crap "MM Star Force")
Riviera: The Promised Land 2(This game is pretty cool)

I hope that some day the last missing Ogre Battle game can be translated. If it wasn't for such an obscure system (NeoGeo Pocket Color) it might have already been translated and patched because someone already translated all the dialogue, items, weapons, classes etc.

I'm tempted to try it out even in Japanese but its really the lack of weapons and items translated that causes problems. I could get through the dialogue because its nicely organized but it would take forever to constantly check items/weapons/classes to see if I'm choosing the right not.

From what I heard, that game runs in parallel with "March Of The Black Queen", the Snes one, so its certainly worth playing.
I don't think NGP is really to blame in this, at least not entirely, its just the existence of the gaiden itself is obscure, but I do
hope it gets worked on. I would if I could, as I feel like working on SF Gaiden 1 for the GG, but programming doesn't get in this brain of mine.

Lunar (That cancelled Lunar 3 project needs to be resurrected, and no that DS crap didn't count.)

Koudelka/Shadow Hearts (Yeah 4 sucked but that is no reason to abandon the series (And yes it technically was 4 not 3) and a Koudelka remake with a fixed and fun battle system would be a good consolation prize since it had such a good story.)

It wasn't exactly a franchise or technically an RPG but Snatcher needs new blood.

And while this one isn't a franchise and the first game suffered from a low budget and horribly bad writing on western shores, I'd like to see a Thousand Arms sequal.

How about Sony's own properties. Alundra or Arc the Lad anyone? Arc was the first ever RPG that featured stratedy elements that I actually loved. Just don't make another Arc 5 or Alundra 2. A GOOD Wild Arms sequal wouldn't be bad either.

Heck, even Legaia 3 would be welcome.

Well I could think of lots more (like not an RPG but Fatal Frame needs a sequal bad) but I'll stop here.
