That Tadaima Yuusha Botsuuchuu Okawari game looks really awesome... reminds me of Bahamut Lagoon in some ways.
Yeah, I looked at this game before. It's a board game RPG I believe?? Just about EVERYTHING is compressed, even the font.
I'm not sure what the objective is to be honest with you.
Some work has already been done:
https://github.com/gdkchan/TYBOToolsNo word on the story, though. If there's no character development, then may not be worth it.
Of the others:
- Elfaria
- Esparks
- Sword World
- Burai
On matter of Burai, there are so many versions. Which is the "best" version?
Unquestionably the PC Engine or the original PC version are the best ones -- for the sole reason that the second half of the story never came out on any other console (on PCE it was called "Burai II" but it's really just the second half of Burai, on the PC it was called part 2.) I've heard the SNES version is worse in other ways as well but I have only played the PCE one.
Unfortunately the PCE version has the common voiced cutscenes with no subtitles, which makes hacking considerably harder, I think? Since there's no carryover from Burai to Burai II I guess it doesn't really matter which system you play the first one on.
