Hello there, I'm new to the forum. First of all, I'm sure you've heard this a lot, but many thanks for the patch. As a Slayers fan, I've been waiting 11 years for this patch. I've been following the translation efforts ever since I discovered the early menu translation patch back in 99, and I pretty much had lost all hope once I learned about Chris's unfortunate death, that is, until I learned about you guys just today. Now regarding the topic, there's this chest in Death Volcano that requires a special key, where do I find it? and what's in the chest anyways? |

yes you need the green key, is after you finish the first part of the game you get that key. |

Thanks, guess I don't have to worry about for now then. Another question, what do the stat attributes shown in battle (for buffs and such) mean? I think I've seen 3 so far (NAC, NDX, and ATR). |

Yes they are displayed that way, although I can't say for sure what the acronyms mean. Still it seems each refers to a basic attribute characters have, I'd risk it and say NAC, NDX and ATR mean attack, defense and magic respectively, although I'll try to update this post when I have more solid info. |

Thanks, now it seems obvious, after experimenting a little, but it really threw me off at first. I thought "NAC" had to do with accuracy or something, haha. |

Indeed, I'm afraid developers weren't very intuitive when creating their buff notations, not something that would have slipped past my eyes if I was head of development of the game haha. Anyway glad to have helped. After checking spell listings in a FAQ, it seems I was right after all. |
