Thanks, thanks, thanks!!

The files have now been fully edited with our combined English translations and sent off to Bongo`. I have a feeling that this may be the last little push I needed to get this project fully back on track. It's a such a great game, and I can't wait to get it released!

I just returned from New Haven this evening after performing my "Dr. Wildbill" call to duty during Tommy's post-op recovery period. Thanks, Recca, for stepping up to the plate. Is there anything left in those menu lists that the two of you were a bit unsure about? I imagine everything will thrash out fine once loaded and played, but let me know if I can do anything at this point.

There were parts that were a bit sketchy... But really, I'll just have to wait and test them in-game due to the lack of context for so many of them. It's no problem, though, as I'm looking forward to getting back into this game.

Welcome back by the way :)

It looks like these two are probably a single statement. I can only understand the last part, "dekimasen" means "You can't do (whatever the rest of the sentance is)."

Thanks for dropping by and helping out! Just to give a short status update, Bongo` has completed his inserter and things are starting to look pretty great! A few hacking jobs here and there will be necessary to make a few of the menus look more cosmetically appealing, but this milestone marks a huge hurdle in the hacking progress.

After I get these menus looking beautiful, I should finally be able to totally test out (and edit) my second full draft of the script. After I've done so, I hope to send it over to WB to get him to go through the game and add any changes that he sees fit (though I haven't mentioned this to him yet). After that... the game should be pretty much finished!

In the past, I've ALWAYS been very happy with the way WB and I both complement each other's writing styles/idea when working together on the same scripts. I hope that he'll be open to working together again (on this script) and doesn't mind taking a more restricted (relaxed???) role on this project ;)

Drakie, it's always a joy to collaborate with you on a game story. You and B-Man have already done the heavy lifting with CS, so I'll definitely be in a relaxed "hog heaven" after you provide this temporarily "out of work" writing junkie with another fine fix!

I am hoping you can sift through LM-III's files afterward so we can announce that "picked up" joint project soon. (I'm proposing to the core group here that we announce LM-III.) BTW, Dackr doesn't yet know we will treat LM-III it as a joint project. He may become active again if we surround him with a team that is committed to finishing projects. This could save Bongo` a lot of work, too. Someone better versed in coding than I needs to contact Dackr to learn more about how his insertion system works so we can start testing it.

Speaking of which, here is a video the D-D core group made some time ago, discussing this very subject. One of us (hee-hee...) is the totally silent one out in front, watching, just watching - with his tongue hanging out...
