First, sorry for kind of dropping out with helping with the translation. I was pretty busy at work and also ended up going in and out of hospital, so I wasn't able to contribute that much and I saw that you got support from other people in the end anyway. Now then. I had a look at your screenshots and noticed that your names and stuff were a mix of Chinese (eg Chi Hu), Japanese (Dousen) and English (:V). If you'd like, I can help you take a consistent direction on this. I think the original script was a blend of Chinese and Japanese nomenclature, so I could identify which is supposed to be which. |

The only area that I'd really like to see cleaned up are the Senju names... These are probably the only area that I feel don't fit exactly. I know that when you translated them, you left them in "Chinese Format". I've looked at many of them myself, and I felt that they maybe could be interpreted in other ways. If you're sure you want to take another look at them, I'd be more than happy to send them over. ![]() On the other hand, the game has a very "old" Asian feel to it, so I kind of like having the mix. heh. |

Speaking of nomenclature, I had the opportunity to rename my first three Senju in the Lecture Scenario. I gave my critters an "Old Toddler" feel so I could remember them, "Bird", "Rat", and "Drag", hee-hee.... Welcome back, Satsu! |

I've recovered fully from my various maladies, thanks. Looking back, I think that comes to about a year ago now. ;D Well, anyway, if you post the stuff that I rendered in Chinese, I can give you the Japanese and English if you want to change them. |

Sorry to hear about your ailments. I hope they weren't / aren't major issues. Glad you are back in action and I'm sure work has you busy and bogged down by now. TAke care! |

[quote="sa♥tsu"]I've recovered fully from my various maladies, thanks. Looking back, I think that comes to about a year ago now. ;D Satsu, I wanted to let you know that since you last visited, Bongo` has either cracked or is on the verge of rendering clean scripts of both Albert Odyssey-I and II. We've sort of had a translator lined up for AO-I, but I've been waiting to get the final word (and dump) from Bongo` before I contact her again. In the event Shirley takes AO-I, would you have time to help us with AO-II (or AO-I if Shirley is no longer available)? We would not be in a rush. |

I also wondered if the names were going to be left in Chinese? I think... for unfamiliar terms... and especially if there's a lot of them, it can be difficult for me to read Chinese terms let alone understand. ![]() I'd think it'd be more understandable to use English names, but that's just my suggestion. (although if it's specifically a Chinese setting, like DoaE, I could understand leaving them.) |

This game's ambiance has a special feel to it that I couldn't quite get my arms wrapped around before. It's very much like DoaE. Wow, imagine those two NES games remixed with these graphics and sprites!
