I figure I'd a make a new thread to show off current progress in the game. I'll try to keep things updated regularly. This way I can keep the main page free of too much clutter. :) Some of the pics are still not perfect, but things have been coming a long, long way in the past month or so. I keep telling Bongo` to take it nice and slow, but he keeps chugging out fixes for the numerous problems in this game.

Outstanding!

Why don't you just do an update paragraph to your previous main page post and sub in these latest graphics? That way, you won't expand the build time hardly at all. TF is the only one of us who knows how to transfer files to archives, or I'd do it - leaving the Slayers release as the bottom one maybe.

I was hoping Dag would look over your list of battle or status statements, but if he doesn't visit soon, maybe I can grab some time over the weekend and give 'em a shot.

Meh... I just want to keep these here for now. There's no reason to make a post on the main page every time Bongo` fixes something new. He's been working really hard on this game lately, and I'm having a hard time keeping up with him. heh

I've got a feeling Dag will pop up eventually. ;)

Uh, well... Once you get caught up with those shows you mentioned, maybe you can hit your stride with the B-Man, 'cause when he's on a roll like this, ya wanna keep feeding him the bugreps!

*drools* chaos seed in english *more drool*

too bad I'm just now (at the ripe old age of 26) getting started in my programming classes or i'd have been helping with this a long time ago, meh at least in the future i'll be able to offer my services. The dragon force 2 saturn translation looks like it'll be needing a lot of help (can't remember what "group" is working on that, think it's just a couple people and they aren't making much headway)

This and DFII are the top of my "would pillage and burn for a chance to play" list.

The screenshots look great Draken. I didn't know that Taito made this game, they did the Lufia series too I believe.

The overall progress looks quite nice Draken! There's a thing that I've been meaning to ask about this game. These Senju allies... how does the player get them? And is there a limit to how many one can have at any given time? When you send them out to patrol, do they engage the enemy automatically like in Starcraft or must one have to command them to attack? I'm very interested about this as the concept seems very original, especially for a RPG. If I remember correctly, I think Taito also made Bust-A-Move. Fun game!

Thanks everyone!

@Recca: The Senju will stay with you for the entire Enchanted Cave mission in each scenario until they are either killed off or the mission ends. You have to summon them by creating a "Summoning room", and you then set paths for them to patrol and/or exchange Energy and Sentan between rooms. They will damage whatever enemies come across their path automatically, and you can even set Senju in your own main party to help you out. There are also NPC type characters that will join your party and help you out in battle throughout the game. It's great!
