Ritchie has translated Block03, the beginning of the Ryu quest. I have send a non-formatted copy to Bongo` to use for insertion testing. Ritchie has also received a copy of Block04, the continuation of the Ryu scenario. This is all good news for BH indeed!

Ritchie has also made some adjustments to the world maps, in the titles above each section. I included a few more adjustments by Recca that he based upon internet research. The map list is a WIP.

Wildbill,

How text heavy is Burning Heroes compared to other SNES RPGs? Is it somewhere on the same level as Mystic Ark and Lennus 2?

Well, my side of the translation is going slowly, but surely. And thanks, Ritchie! ^_^

The list looks fine to me! :)
I see that some of the names have not been completely decided upon yet.
Here's some suggestions that I've had in mind for them:

Part 1
Quote:
04. Old Trail or Old Mountain Pass (Path) or Ancient Trail or Ancient Old Mountain Pass (Path)

"Old Mountain Pass" sounds good to me.
Quote:
06. Tide Town or Tidal Town

I would say "Tidal Town". Tide Town sounds like an advertisement of that detergent company.
Quote:
11. Quicksand Tower or Sand Tower

"Quicksand Tower" sounds a bit more poetic in my opinion.

Part 2
Quote:
01. Trade Capital or Trade City

"Trade Capital". Trade City sounds good too, but Trade Capital sounds more emphasized. As though it's the lagest city; the capital of trade in the country or world.
Quote:
02. Rouge Trail or Rouge Mountain Pass (Path)

I would say that "Rouge Mountain Pass" sounds a bit better than trail. Both are fine though.
Quote:
03. Sky Castle or Castle in the Sky

"Sky Castle" wound be my choice. Castle in the Sky doesn't sound quite as magestic in my opinion. Also, it's the name of an anime movie. It was a pretty good one!
Quote:
04. Rouge Barrier or Rouge Checking Station or Rouge Checkpoint

Considering the fact that you require a pass to get passed this point in the game, I would personally go with "Rouge Checkpoint".
Quote:
09. Ash Barrier or Ash Checking Station or Ash Checkpoint

"Ash Checkpoint" for same reason as the Rouge one.
Quote:
12. Tide Town or Tidal Town

"Tidal Town". Same one above in Part 1.
Quote:
17. Waterfall Trail or Waterfall Mountain Pass (Path)

"Waterfall Mountain Pass" would be my choice.
Quote:
18. Floating Road or Levitation Road

"Levitation Road" has a nicer ring to it in my opinion.
Quote:
21. Village of Ruins or Relic Village

Both sound fine to me, but I like "Village of Ruins" a bit more.

Part 3
>No changes.<

Whew, well that's it. Does anyone else have any suggestions? Let's hear some opinions! :D

I would estimate quite heavy based upon what I hear characters saying to each other early in the game. We have 70 dialogue blocks to insert. Some are quite long; others are just a page, five or six strings. The one Ritchie just sent us (03) starts with the Ryu flashback scene with his father abandoning him and extends through the procurement of medicine for the sister of someone named Ryouga. The block was not all that long, but I still required several hours to format, lightly edit, and organize it for the first test insertion. Then, I sent Ritchie Block-04, a continuation of the Ryu scenario.

Since BH contains three worlds - similar to Lennus-II - I'm guessing the game will be quite long and possibly a good deal larger than Mystic Ark and Feda.

Oho, I from the looks of it I'm going to need even more coffee than I used with MA when proofreading for BH comes along, hahah.

Yup, and coffee doesn't grow on banana trees either, just starbuck trees!
