It certainly will be nice to see things picking up pace again. There's been an eerie silence around here for some time now. Hopefully, everyone is doing alright. I've been looking through the current translation and haven't found any more freeze points or anything like that so far, which is nice. The progress we've made so far is great, our thanks goes out to Ritchie for taking his time to help us.
We have these eerie silences every now and then. It means we're either overloaded, near burnout, or catching our breath; or else we've almost collectively had other matters rule our lives for a time.
As for me, I'm working on
Chaos Seed, but if Ritchie sends us some files, I'll rough-load them (a tiny bit of formatting that takes maybe an hour per block) and fire things over.
I really want to stay focused on
CS until it's released, and right now I'm bogged down a little with all of the Feng Shui mysteries.
CS has the most intricate arcane culture I've yet encountered in an RPG. I'm not too proud to admit that parts of it are still a bit over my head. I'm not talking about the story, though. The premise and plot are crystal clear. I'm speaking of the complexity and infinite variations in dungeon-building operations.
I should probably quit worrying about my confusion, just build any ol' sloppy dungeon that works, and polish the danged story!
