You could always use DosBox or VirtualBox to run SnesTool on Win7. I'm pretty sure both of them are free

Ive downloaded the patch about 6 times and about 20 diferent roms. Now im using windows 7 and found i cant use snes tools on windows 7 all the other programs ive tried wont work. Could somone please help me? |

DosBox isn't working? Snestool isn't working in Dosbox? Or is it that the rom still isn't working? If it was either of the first two, have you tried NSRT? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSR-r5_y94Y Edit: And don't give up! If all else fails, I've got another solution for you

Can you clarify which isn't working? NSRT or the rom after removing the header and patching? Also, this has been all talked about before viewtopic.php?f=36&t=432

The roms and ive tried lots of different roms. keep geting bad rom and such when i try to load after patching. |

Good to hear! A little side note to anyone else who reads this later on... Just because an emulator (like ZFossil.. err Zsnes) tells you that the "checksum failed", it does not indicate that your patching technique was botched. I guess we haven't really mentioned this before... At least I haven't.
