Very sad news, indeed :( R.I.P

I have yet to replay Lennus II. Couldn't give it the proper attention when I first played it, had lots of other things in my mind at that time. Also, I played it on a portable device, a GP2X, which started to have battery problems.

He dreamed of a Lennus-III and set the stage for it but couldn't or didn't go forward.

Sad news. Respect for the man's work, I wonder what he had been doing past Legaia...?

Lennus 3 might either have been the greatest thing or the worst. Suppose it was to be for PSX with 3d artstyle, an era where the shift to 3d modeling sank so many promising smaller dev teams. Makes one wonder how bringing the setting's unique artstyle to the PSX format would have ended looking like.

Some description on what Lennus III would have been.
But understandably the dev team probably didn't want to work on it when Lennus II took two years longer than expected to get released, with them doubting if it would have even been released at all (and even when it did came out, it was very late in the SFC's lifespan and was released against Star Ocean, which I imagine was a much higher profile game).
